Big Nel (my father), came into my studio in mid 2006 with a stack of CD's in hand. He was beaming about an idea he had to do a radio spot/advertisement type commercial and he wanted me to produce it. I sorted through the CD's and with his assistance and concept began writing what would be come "Heavens Hottest Hits" a massive collection of religious songs every church should have on hand! Our idea was to poke fun, and mock TV's QVC type channels, while using religious songs as the crutch for comedy.

Amazing Grace, is just a short snip-it of the entire completed commercial which we named "Heavens Hottest Hits". The entire commercial is actually about 4 minutes long, and has jokes and puns from "hallelujah", "I shot The Sheriff", "Faith" and even "Hits From The Hood" (sold separately).

Amazing Grace was the finale of the commercial and has since gone down in history with cult status!
